The confetti and empty bottles left over from the celebrations of Election Day 2006 have just been swept up in Washington D.C.. The democrats are in control of the House and the Senate, but will they take control of the White House in 2008?
The 2008 election is two years away but the race for the White House has already begun. The Republicans seem to have John McCain geared up, as the Democrats still have to make a pick.
The Dems have two choices: Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama

That's stupid talk. The netroots will set the agenda and vet the candidates. Look for Wesley Clark as a standout, but my guess is he will team as VP with Al Gore. Yup, Albert Gore, Jr., the inventor of Gore-Tex (and the internets).

name recognition on a national level mainly, and it is my feeling that the dems need to trot out a centrist.
don't forget that we live on an island of what most of the rest of the country feels is "radical" liberalism. i realize that every time i fly back to ohio or nebraska.
